Essential Skills Training
Information Communications Technology

Participants will work towards their designated Qualification under the EST Element of Steps to Work.  Within this option participants will be offered up to 26 weeks to address their Essential Skills requirement.  On the successful completion of this option¸ participants will be entitled to a financial bonus and will have the opportunity to continue in the Steps to Work Programme by moving across to another element for up to a further period of 26 weeks.

 

I.T. Qualifications:

 

British Computer Society

Elle Enterprises are an accredited BCS centre for the delivery of I.T. Qualifications.

Elle Enterprises (NI) Ltd offers a range of I.T. Qualifications to participants to help them become more proficient in the use of technology.  Participants with little or no experience can enrol on a basic I.T. Qualification to provide them with introductory skills and competences which will equip them with the necessary ability to understand their way around a PC.

Participants who already are familiar with their way around a PC but need to develop and build upon their I.T. literacy can undertake a higher level Qualification to achieve recognition and competence at this level.

European Computer Driving Licence
  • ECDL Essentials.
  • ECDL Extra.
  • Flexiqual.
  • I.C.T. Level 2.

Participants on the Steps to Work Programme can undertake Level 1 & Level 2 ECDL in a combined manner under the Qualification strand of the Programme¸ thus building their competences and confidence whilst placed in a workplace where they will have the opportunity to enhance their skills.

 

NVQ’s:

 

Elle Enterprises are in the process of becoming an accredited centre for the delivery of a range of NVQ’s and VRQ’s.
